 " I did this Swim on 20th August 2008 it was on Turkish National Day, I was thrilled to have completed the 5k swim in under an hour considering there was a 9 knot current. "


 

LAKE WINDERMERE ONE WAY

Date: 1st September 2010

Distance: 11 miles

Swim Time: 6 hours 47 minutes

" Swimming lake windermere one way was my first big swim, The water was really cold and the distance was a challenge but i completed this swim quite comfortably. "

 


 

LAKE WINDERMERE TWO WAY

Date: 3rd September 2012

Distance: 22 miles

Swim Time: 13 hours 34 minutes

" After my Jersey to France swim was canceled due to the weather i decided to head to lake Windermere once again, This time though i decided challenge  myself  to do a 2 way swim. I started the 22 mile swim at 7.00 AM, and the wind picked up towards the end of the first length i finished the swim 13 hours and 40 mins later at 8.40PM ! "


 

JERSEY TO FRANCE

Date: 17 July 2013

Distance: 16 miles

Swim Time: 9 hours 18 minutes

" Loved this swim most of all, the starting conditions were perfect but this deteriorated as i got to the french coast and i ended up having a lot of fun riding some Giant waves. "


 

ENGLISH CHANNEL DOVER TO FRENCH COAST

Date: 14 August 2013

Distance: 22 miles

Swim Time: 14 hours

" Tough swim Started from dover at 2 AM and swam strongly to the french coast after 14 hours. Unfortunately due to conditions greatly deteriorating i could not land on the rock shore as it was far too dangerous. "


 

ON PORPOISE DIABETES UK RELAY ACROSS THE ENGLISH CHANNEL

Distance: 22 miles

Swim Time: 16 hours 6 minutes

Great swim and all for a good cause too. We had some fun with the spring time and at one point found or self closer to holland than france. ended up Landing against the cliffs at Sangatte after 16 hours in the water.


 

ENGLISH CHANNEL ALDERNEY TO FRANCE

Date: 21 August 2014

Distance: 13 miles

Swim Time: 6 hours 27 minutes

" Toughest Swim of all across the race of Alderney as this swim had not been tested. Missed Cherbourg Peninsula by 2 miles and ended up swimming across the Northern Coast for an additional 5.5 miles until the tide turned. Difficult to land as outgoing tide got up to 9 knots but eventually reached France. "

Swim Time: 10 hours 56 minutes

" I really enjoyed this swim in which i experienced perfect conditions. Plenty of jellyfish stings but i got round much faster than i anticipated . "
